Bibliography:

Gratiot, Charles, 1786-1855, USMA 1806, "Proceedings of a court of enquiry [sic] ...", 1811 April 5, SPEC Mss, 2 p. ; 25 x 19 cm.  Summary:  Order convening board of inquiry to discover the cadets who had damaged cadet barracks signed by Gratiot. Cobb and Partridge who sat on the board presided over by E. D. Wood, questioned the legality of convening such a board. Wood adjourned the court noting the above objection on the verso of the order.

I looked at this on November 16, 2001 and made a photocopy. The document contains little more information than the abstract except to site "92 article of the rules and articles of War." It does have signatures of the three. Filed with Wood papers.
