• Instructor in Mathematics, USMA, August 28, 1889 to July 1, 1892  [1893?].
• Assistant Professor of Mathematics, USMA, July 1, 1893 to February 1, 1895.
• Instructor in Mathematics, USMA, February 1, 1895 to August 13, 1895.
• He was 1st Lieut in the 2nd Artillery while at USMA.
• Resided in Paris, 1909-1915.

He was the only Assistant Professor from 1893 to 1895, being preceded by Wright P. Edgerton and succeeded by Edmund D. Smith. The fact that he was demoted to Instructor could involve an interesting story. Check it out.
