• Instructor in Mathematics, USMA, August 20, 1892 to August 13, 1895.
• Assistant Professor of Mathematics, USMA, August 13, 1895 to August 13, 1897.
• During his time at West Point he was 1st Lieut, 23d Infantry.
• Last surviving member of his class.

He was the only Assistant Professor from 1895 to 1897, being preceded by Edmund D. Smith and succeeded by Charles P. Echols.
