Evaluation by Experts

This will be very hard to do. Even if we define an "expert" as someone who has taught a history of mathematics course, it will still be hard to get your course evaluated by an outside expert.

Time is probably the biggest problem. Most people do not have the time to give your course a careful evaluation. One can ask someone to look at your syllabus or an exam and they might be willing to do that. But it will hard to go much deeper.

What one can do is to talk to people at meetings about the course you are teaching and listen carefully to the comments they make. Ask them for suggestions and advice. Tell them what you have done and ask how it could be done better.

Sad to say, but in the last resort, evaluation of your course is up to you and you alone.
