Evaluation by Students

This is not really any different than in any other class, so this will be brief:

Talk to your students every day. Be in the classroom when they arrive and ask them how things are going. Find out what they find difficult. This can help you with what to stress during class. Students will appreciate your interest in them. You can make changes in your course depending on how they respond to your questions.

Have a midterm teaching evaluation. And then respond to their concerns in class. Of course, you don't have to do whatever they want (you will receive inconsistent suggestions).
